Development in NGO sector - is this possible?

Hello to everyone, my first post here=)

I am attending courses for leaders of youth organizations (frankly speaking there are mostly representatives from university student organization and state comittees of youth and sport, I am there kind of out, but still important contacts and information is there).

Yesterday we had a guy talking about the career of person from an NGO. Where is the end of his career? Ok, you start with your own projects inside any other org-n, then... you start your own organization, then you open branches of your NGO, then you becomes a trainer, what's next (very usual career in NGO sector)?

This guy found the idea of creating social technologies (as we do not have them mostly in the cys) for problems that exsist in the country (for example, how to save the small nations in the cy - we do not have such a technology) - he is doing everything starting from creation till full implementation and tracking.

You can earn money (this works like a normal business) but you are creating certain things for your society.

I am not going to work in the company throughout my whole life for sure. I think this can be a good idea. I think I will work for him for some time to see how these things are working;)

By the way, I have already met him during the Potanin stipendium competition in Ekaterinburg. Life is small not only in AIESEC=)

Greetings!
KP
